We Speak

Hebrew is the text of religions,
French are the words of love,
Latin is the speech of the artist,
And German is spoken by friends.
Chinese are the teachings of the spirit,
Spanish is the voice of laughter,
English is the language of youth,
And change is the way of time.

You remind me of Charlemagne ;)

he said something to the degree that he spoke Spanish with God, French with friends, Italian with lovers, and German with enemies.

It is really interesting how people "see" different things in languages
